Hi, I’m Amanda Sutton
Owner/Founder of Kevin & Co Hairdressing
I’m the proud owner of Kevin & Co hairdressing. I begun my hairdressing career back in 2008 at the age of 19 and owning a salon has always been a massive goal of mine. For the past 15 years I have spent my time exploring, up skilling and immersing myself in to the world of hair. I strive to constantly expand my knowledge of hairdressing and uphold an extremely high standard in the industry. I don’t view being a hair stylist as a job but more of a passion. I take the utmost of pride in my work and strive to work with my clients to ensure we reach their hair goals, desires and dreams together. Over the years I have attended an extensive amount of educational courses including: colour revolution, colour change, NYC barbering, foundation cutting with Richard Kavanagh, just to name a few. After spending the last 4 years as a salon manager I felt as though it was time to take the next step in my career and open my own salon where I could turn all my hopes and dreams into reality. I am extremely grateful to of had this opportunity and excited to see what the future has in store for myself and Kevin & Co.
My vision
My vision for Kevin & Co Hairdressing was to be a place for clients to come to unwind, relax and take some time out. My aim was to create a salon that was different from the rest with wooden accents, and pops of rich native green that help you to sink into your seat. Having plants placed around the salon to keep the space feeling fresh and clean. I wanted to have an area for clients to sit while their colours process to lounge and enjoy a drink and read their book so they can completely zone out and enjoy the environment without having to be in the hustle and bustle of our stylists working their magic.
